In a bid to get those inside the tent looking out (dealing with global or European issues) and those outside the tent looking in (dealing with local issues), I am going to pose the following questions to a couple of candidates:
To Dave Hill (Trade Unionist & Socialist Coalition):
Does he believe that the credibility of European macroeconomic coordination depends more on how the Stability and Growth Pact is explained than on how it is reformed.
To Simon Kirby (Conservative):
What does he propose to do about our neighbours' cat crapping in our garden?
Kirby (Con) will need to know a little history and analysis before making proposals of action.
ReplyDeleteYou must erect a hide in your garden, take copious notes at 2 minute intervals for seven days on cat and said cat's activities. Fire elephant shot and air gun pellets to compare and contrast. Do so from different ranges from 1 foot to fifteen foot. Set traps. Hire a crane as per A fish called wanda and the old lady with her pooches incident. Re-enforce hide before this experiment. Diet and veterinary records will also be required at hand when posing above question to candidate.
